2024 RMGA Match Play

Championship

 

Dates:    May 8th –Aug 31st             

·         This is a Single elimination match play tournament.  Open to all members of the RMGA

o   First 32 players to sign up are in, additional sign-ups will be put on the waiting list

o   Players must have a current handicap index.

o   Players will receive 100% of USGA Handicap.

o   After each round, your handicap will update

o   Players will play off of the lower handicap during matches. 

o   Players must have posted NLT 10 rounds in a calendar year.  If not, the lowest handicap index will be used during that 12-month period. 

o   Players will be ranked based on the current 2024 RMGA Points Standings 

 

Time:              Round of 32   May 8^th –May 29th     

                        Round of 16    May 30th – June 19th  

                        Round of 8      June 20th   –Jul 13th       

                        Semi Finals     July 14th – Aug 4th

Finals              Aug 4th – Aug 31st  

***There are no exceptions for time extensions.  Players unable to complete their match will be forced to forfeit. ***                           

Format: Individual Match Play

  • All players will play from their established tees.

Entry Fee: $40 Charged to your member account

Payout: Gift Certificate Credit for Golf Merchandise. Top 8 spots are paid out
