2026 RMGA Match Play

Championship

Dates:    May 6th –Aug 27th             

·         This is a Single elimination match play tournament.  Open to ONLY RMGA MEMBERS 

o   First 32 players to sign up are in, additional sign-ups will be put on the waiting list

o   Players must have a current handicap index.

o   Players will receive 100% of USGA Handicap 

o   After each round, your handicap will update

o   Players will play off of the lower handicap during matches. 

o   Players must have posted NLT 10 rounds in a calendar year.  If not, the lowest handicap index will be used during that 12-month period. 

o   Players will be ranked in no particular order, Match-ups will be random

Time:              Round of 32   May 6th –May 27th     

                        Round of 16    May 28th – June 17th  

                        Round of 8      June 18th   –Jul 16th       

                        Semi Finals     July 17th – Aug 6th

      Finals               Aug 7th – Aug 27th  

***There are no exceptions for time extensions.  Players unable to complete their match will be forced to forfeit. ***                           

Format: Individual Match Play

  • All players will play from their established tees.
