RSMGA 2021 EVENT SCHEDULE (Starting in April)
April 14 MASTERS TOURNAMENT
This will be a 4-person team event utilizing the two best scores. Each player plays their own ball throughout and must have a minimum of four scores recorded.
May 12 Fourman Shamble
The team will compete in Shamble format with specific rules throughout the round. Shamble formats are simular to a scramble, but each player will play their own ball on each hole after the first series of shots.
June 9 MODIFIED RYDER CUP
This is a 4-person event where the first 9 holes is a regular scramble with one score recorded. The second nine holes will be a best ball event where two best scores are recorded out of the four players.
July 14 THREE BEST SCORES
This is a 4-person event. Three best scores recorded on each hole. Each player must have a minimum of four scores recorded during the round.
August 11 STRAIGHT GOLF
This is a 4-person team event. All players tee off from their respective tees and play a standard round of golf. The two best scores are recorded. Maximum score per player is double par NET.
September 8 FLIGHTED COMPETITION
A, B, C, D This is a 4-person event. A players play against A’s, B’s against B’s, C’s against C’s, D’s against D’s. Full handicaps will be applied to each player and a maximum score of double par NET.
October 13 FOUR MAN MIX
This is a 4-person event. All players play their own ball through the round. Team scores will be the best three scores on the par 3’s, best two scores on the par 4’s and best one score on the par 5’s. Maximum score per player is double par NET.
November 10 FOUR MAN SCRAMBLE
This is a 4-person event using the standard scramble format. For this event, each players drive must be used at least three times. We will have a closest to the FLAG payout on hole #17 to honor Veterans Day.
December 8 HOLIDAY RED BALL
This is a 4-person event. Each player will tee off from their respective tees and play a normal round of golf. Each foursome will be provided with Two RED balls. Every player must alternate (hole by hole) using the RED ball. The “A” player must determine the red ball players hole assignment in consecutive order. Two best scores will be recorded. If the RED ball is lost during a specific hole, that player will take the appropriate lost ball penalty and continue play with his own ball. Only one RED ball will be in play per hole. At the next hole, the scheduled RED ball player plays the hole with the RED ball. At the end of play, each foursome will minus 5 points per RED ball returned from their final score. The potential is that each foursome can reduce their final score by 10 points if they return with two RED balls.
