2023 RMGA Match Play

Dates:    April 26th –Aug 19th           

• This is a Single elimination match play tournament.  Open to all members of the RMGA in good standing. 
  • The field will be limited to the first 32 players.
  • Players must have a current handicap index.
  • Players will receive 100% of USGA Handicap.
  • Handicaps will update after each round.
  • Players will play off the lower handicap during matches. 
  • Players must have posted NLT 10 rounds in a calendar year. If not, the lowest handicap index will be used during that 12-month period. 
  • Players will be ranked from 2023 Player of Year points standings. 
  • The overall winner of the event is the one that progresses all the way through the winner’s bracket undefeated.

 

Time:          Round of 32   April 26^th –May 16^th       

                   Round of 16    May 17^th – June 6^th   

                   Round of 8      June 7^th –June 27^th       

                   Semi Finals     June 28^th – Jul 18^st

Finals          July 19th – Aug 15^th   

 

***There are no exceptions for time extensions.  Players unable to complete their match will be eliminated. ***                   

                  

• Tees:                   
  • All players will play from established tees.

 

Format: Individual Match Play

Entry Fee: $40    

 

Payout: Top 8 finishers (Through Quarter Finals) in shop credit.
