2022 RMGA Match Play

Dates:    May 9th –Aug 21st             

·         This is a Single elimination match play tournament.  Open to all members of the RMGA in good standing.  

o   The field will be limited to the first 32 players

o   Players must have a current handicap index.

o   Players will receive 100% of USGA Handicap.

o   Current handicap will be used on the day of the match.

o   Players will play off of the lower handicap during matches. 

o   Players must have posted NLT 10 rounds in a calendar year.  If not, the lowest handicap index will be used during that 12 month period. 

o   Players will be ranked from 2022 Player of Year points standings 

o   The overall winner of the event is the one that progresses all the way through the winner’s bracket undefeated.

 

 

Time: 

Round of 32   May 9^th –May 29th     

                        Round of 16    May 30th – June 19th  

                        Round of 8      June 20th   –Jul 10th       

                        Semi Finals     July 11th – Jul 31st

Finals              Aug 1st – Aug 21st  

***There are no exceptions for time extensions.  Players unable to complete their match will be eliminated.***                       

     Deadline for signup is May 1st
